Role Overview
As the Lead Developer at CryptoBetDeals.com, you will oversee the platform’s entire software development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with our product, design, and content teams to build user-centric features, ensure platform stability, and integrate modern technology stacks that keep us ahead of the curve.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role. Beyond writing high-quality code, you’ll guide and mentor our development team, making architectural decisions that align with both immediate project goals and our long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Define the platform’s technical roadmap in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies, particularly those relevant to crypto/blockchain integrations.
- Ensure robust coding standards, development practices, and implementation of best-in-class security protocols.

Platform Development & Scaling
- Build and maintain scalable applications that can handle increasing traffic and data demands.
- Integrate cryptocurrency APIs, payment gateways, and real-time data feeds related to online gambling and blockchain transactions.
- Optimize front-end and back-end performance for seamless user experiences, whether on desktop or mobile.

Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead a small, agile development team—providing code reviews, technical guidance, and mentorship.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, content creators) to translate ideas into actionable development tasks.
- Maintain an organized workflow using Agile or similar methodologies, ensuring on-time delivery of features.

- Implement security measures to protect user data, especially in regard to crypto wallets and sensitive payment information.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance standards in the crypto gambling space, ensuring that our platform remains legally compliant.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Regularly assess technical debt and refactor code for maintainability and efficiency.
- Introduce innovative features that enhance user engagement (e.g., real-time odds tracking, interactive betting guides).
- Conduct periodic code reviews, testing, and performance audits to ensure high reliability and uptime.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.

Technical Proficiency
- Strong command of one or more back-end languages/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms for deployment and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and cryptographic principles relevant to web and blockchain development.

Blockchain & Crypto Expertise
- Demonstrable experience integrating cryptocurrency wallets, payment gateways, or blockchain APIs.
- Understanding of DeFi concepts and the broader crypto ecosystem (Layer 1 vs. Layer 2 solutions, popular smart contract platforms, etc.).

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of mentoring junior developers.
